Questions
- Can I use BankingMCP and belege.ai together?
- Yes. Both are MCP servers, and most assistants accept several. Your assistant then picks the right tools for each question.
- Which one stores less data?
- BankingMCP. It doesn't store balances or transactions; it fetches them for each question your assistant asks and passes them only to that assistant. According to its FAQ, belege.ai syncs transactions to its own servers and stores them for bank matching, receipt assignment and MCP access. Its receipt features need that. If you only want to ask about your accounts, BankingMCP hands less of your data to a third party.
- Which one is cheaper?
- BankingMCP costs €5 a month including VAT. belege.ai's paid plans start at €19 a month plus VAT and include its receipt features.
- Are both read-only?
- Yes. Neither connection lets your assistant make payments.
