Connect Qonto to Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants via MCP

BankingMCP is an MCP server for your Qonto account. Connect Qonto once through the regulated PSD2 web form, then add the MCP address to your assistant. It can read balances and transactions, and nothing else. No programming needed.

Short answer

Yes, Qonto works. It is in the bank directory BankingMCP connects through, via XS2A (PSD2). Your assistant gets your balance and transactions, read-only, for €5 a month after a 7-day free trial. Nothing to install.

Check Qonto

Answered live from the bank directory. If your exact institution shows up here, BankingMCP can connect to it.

Connect Qonto over MCP in three steps

  1. Create an account

Create a BankingMCP account and start the 7-day free trial. You add payment details at Stripe, and you pay nothing if you cancel within the trial.

  2. Connect Qonto

Choose Qonto and log in through its own PSD2 web form. Your banking credentials never reach us.

  3. Set up your assistant

Add the MCP address to Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant. It picks up the banking tools on its own, and you ask your first question.

Good to know about Qonto

  • Search for “Qonto” in the connection form.
  • If you share several accounts at Qonto, your assistant sees all of them. You can add more accounts later with one click.
  • Banks ask you to confirm access again after a set period. BankingMCP shows you when the Qonto consent expires; after that you log in once more.

What you can ask once Qonto is connected

  • “How much is in our Qonto business account right now?”
  • “Which customer payments are still missing this month?”
  • “What were our five biggest expenses last quarter?”
  • “Build a 13-week cash forecast from our recurring payments.”

Connecting Qonto through regulated bank access

  • Read-only. Over MCP your assistant only gets read tools: it can list accounts, read balances and search transactions. There is no payment tool in this connection.
  • You log in at Qonto itself. Access runs through finAPI, a PSD2-licensed account information service, and your banking credentials never reach BankingMCP.
  • BankingMCP doesn't keep your balances and transactions; it fetches them for each question your assistant asks. Only account details and an access log, kept for 90 days, are stored.
  • Every assistant gets its own address. Deactivate one and its access to your Qonto account stops immediately.

Questions about Qonto

What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude or ChatGPT use outside tools. BankingMCP makes your Qonto account available as an MCP server, so your assistant looks up balances and transactions directly instead of you uploading bank statements.
Does BankingMCP support Qonto?
Yes. Qonto is listed in the bank directory with a XS2A (PSD2) interface, which is how BankingMCP connects. The live check on this page confirms your exact institution.
Do I need to install an app to use Qonto with Claude or ChatGPT?
No. BankingMCP runs in the browser on any computer or phone. You connect Qonto once, then add one address to your assistant.
Does my assistant see my Qonto balance?
Yes, along with your transactions. Your assistant reads the balance when it asks, together with the time Qonto last delivered it.
How up to date are my Qonto transactions?
Your assistant fetches your balance and transactions with every question and gets them as Qonto last delivered them, with a timestamp. If the Qonto consent expires, it only sees the last state until you log in again – and tells you so.
Can I use Qonto together with other banks?
Yes. Connect up to 50 accounts across several banks, personal and business. Your assistant answers across all of them, and the price stays at €5 a month.
Does my assistant see my Qonto login?
No. You log in at Qonto in its own web form. Neither BankingMCP nor your assistant ever receives your PIN, password or TAN.
Do I need programming skills to use Qonto with Claude or ChatGPT?
No. You connect Qonto in the browser and copy one address into your assistant's settings. Every assistant has a step-by-step guide.
Can my assistant transfer money from my Qonto account?
No. The connection is read-only and has no payment tool. Payments are planned as a separate feature, where you approve every transfer in your own banking app.
