Is there an official N26 MCP server?
No. N26 offers no MCP server of its own and no public API for its customers (as of October 2026). Its only official interface is PSD2 access, which only licensed providers with a qualified eIDAS certificate may use. So you can't build an N26 MCP with API keys of your own.
What else exists are unofficial clients that rebuild the N26 app's undocumented interface. We found no ready-made N26 MCP server on GitHub, and the best-known client has been archived since 2023. BankingMCP takes the regulated route: the connection runs through finAPI, a BaFin-supervised account information service with PSD2 access to N26. Your assistant gets read-only access to accounts, balances and transactions – with nothing to install and no password in a config file.

- Read-only. Over MCP your assistant only gets read tools: it can list accounts, read balances and search transactions. There is no payment tool in this connection.
- You log in at N26 itself. Access runs through finAPI, a PSD2-licensed account information service, and your banking credentials never reach BankingMCP.
- BankingMCP doesn't keep your balances and transactions; it fetches them for each question your assistant asks. Only account details and an access log, kept for 90 days, are stored.
- Every assistant gets its own address. Deactivate one and its access to your N26 account stops immediately.

- No. You log in at N26 in its own web form. Neither BankingMCP nor your assistant ever receives your PIN, password or TAN.

- Can my assistant transfer money from my N26 account?
